DESCRIPTION OF WOODWORK:
Existing painted woodwork in front parlor including 2 windows with casings, sashes, shutters, and panels; pier mirror, baseboard, parlor fplc mantel w/overmantel, 2 large sliding doors and casing(one side only), 2 swinging doors and casing towards dining room (both sides)and in dining room- built-in cabinet plus baseboard , two closet doors and casings(one side only)and 2 windows casing only. Parlor wood is all mahogany except for some patches on mantel which are pine; dining room woodwork is cherrywood. Some minor damages.
SCOPE OF WORK:
Strip to bare wood via wet chemical method. Patch and putty-fill where necessary. Supply and install missing baseboard cap molding. Install dutchman patch at base of window panel. Rough sand, and prepare wood surfaces. Fine sand and stain to color selected. Seal and topcoat with 5 coats of restoration varnish. Color blend pine patch to match.

$12,800.
DURATION OF PROJECT:
This project should take about 4 weeks. We can schedule stripping and finishing around other trades.
