LEAD PAINT on your woodwork...

Many homes built before 1976 likely have lead paint somewhere; so when we take on a project of returning painted surfaces to their original wood finish, we need to be mindful of the hazards we may be dealing with.

Accordingly, East End Woodstrippers is a certified remodeling firm following the protocols and regulations of the EPA Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule (RRP), which provides for lead-safe practices to be exercised to minimize the risks of lead poisoning.

We contain the areas we are working in, and always keep the surfaces wet, so as not to create dust.We follow clean up procedures, and while we do not perform lead abatements, and cannot certify lead-free surfaces, we do manage the handling of possible lead paint quite well.
