We are happy to provide free price estimates by phone or email  for your project, based on your description of your woodwork and any photos you can supply us. This will you give you a good sense of “ballpark” costs associated with getting your woodwork restored.

We also can come to your location and perform a site inspection and evaluation. We will test strip up to 3 spots to determine the kind of paint or finish we are dealing with and also discover what kind of wood you have, if this is not known. We will also detail all the elements in your project, and provide you with a written restoration project proposal (click to view a sample proposal) which will be our actual pricing for your project

In NYC, there is a $75 service fee for this site visit, which would be credited towards any on-location work you contract us for. Outside of NYC, the service fee will vary depending on location and type of consultation we do for you. This fee is also credited toward your contract with us.

This site visit allows us to determine what it will actually take to perform your project, so we can price it accurately. Real-world testing lets you know what your wood is and what it looks like. It will usually take about an hour. You are, of course, under no obligation (aside from the service fee).
